About the job

The Politics Department within the School of Social Sciences is looking to appoint a fixed term lecturer (teaching-focused) in Critical Global Politics (CGP) for the academic year 2025-26. CGP is one of the areas of teaching specialism in the department. The post-holders will teach on different CGP modules at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, and supervise a range of dissertations broadly on CGP and related areas. They will support academic advisees, and take on relevant administrative responsibilities.

These are teaching-focused lectureships. They will operate on a 60-20-20 basis, where 60% of the time (on average) is spent doing teaching, 20% on scholarship, and 20% on administration.
