Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Pre-Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our group, providing essential administrative and logistical support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication: Speak directly with members of the public in order to recruit volunteers into clinical studies, manage email correspondence, represent the organisation positively, both directly with the public and between healthcare professionals and organisations.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Communication and support for clinical trial volunteers. Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Office Management: Maintain a clean and organised office environment, manage office supplies, and handle general administrative tasks.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, databases, and files.
  • Financial Support: Assist with processing expense claims.
  • Project Support: Provide administrative support for various projects, including preparing files, study protocols and taking minutes.

What We're Looking For:

Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not required.

Skills:

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, particularly on the telephone.

Proficiency:

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Personality:

  • A proactive, positive, and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You will be required to treat volunteers and industry guests with the utmost respect and ensure that they receive a 5* service throughout their time with us.

Candidates need to be as flexible as possible in order to meet the needs of the business. Our clinics operate until 6:00pm most weekdays and the successful candidate will be expected to support these clinic hours.

Work Location: Manchester University, in the office.
