About SEERIH
Established within the Faculty of Science & Engineering in 2014, SEERIH is a nationally recognised centre focused enhancing the quality of science and engineering education. SEERIH’s work (www.fascinate.manchester.ac.uk) champions innovative curriculum development and related research in the area of primary and secondary school science, technology and engineering. By establishing partnerships with teachers and school clusters, the Hub’s work focuses on enlivening the opportunities for teachers' continuous professional development (CPD) and stimulating a positive culture-shift in attitudes and practice.
Since 2016 SEERIH has designed and grown two campaigns, Great Science Share for Schools and Engineering Educates, which are underpinned by the research and curriculum development it has established. Growth of these campaigns has been rapid and requires additional support to maximise the reach and impact for young people across the UK.
