Job Description


Overall Purpose of the Job

  • To organise and supervise the operation and delivery of University sports facilities and services, ensuring the delivery of excellent customer service and operating standards as specified and agreed with the Sport Coordinator (Operations)
  • To supervise all on-site sport operations colleagues ensuring that duties are performed in line with agreed operating standards and strategic aims
  • To take responsibility for the supervision and development of designated sport centre assistants and their related work programme and progress

Due to the nature of the funding, KTP Associates who have already completed a KTP are not eligible to apply.

As this role involves research at a postgraduate level, applicants who are not an EEA national or a national of an exempt country and who will require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route of the UK Visas and Immigration’s (UKVI) Points Based System in order to take up the role, will be required to apply for an Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) Certificate and will need to obtain this prior to making any official visa application UKVI)
