Job Description

The group led by Prof. Angeliki Malliri (https://research.manchester.ac.uk/en/persons/angeliki.malliri) is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join her internationally regarded team. We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic scientist for 2.5 years, beginning tentatively from October 2025, who wishes to develop skills in a friendly but ambitious group focusing on lung cancer. The successful appointee will join the group as a research technician and will be part of a project funded by the Medical Research Council investigating mechanisms of plasticity in Small Cell Lung Cancer. They would need to have experience in standard cell biology, molecular biology and biochemistry techniques, and a good knowledge of Cancer Research. They will be able to develop their cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, imaging and data analysis skills and will have the opportunity to attend conferences and present their data.
