Job Description

This post provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to a Cancer Research UK funded programme of research to improve access to lung cancer early detection for individuals with intellectual disabilities and severe mental illness. The post will involve conducting multiple research projects including quantitative data analysis, qualitative data collection and analysis and participatory research. It includes working with collaborators alongside a study public advisory group.

The role would particularly appeal to researchers with a passion for health equity and working with underserved groups.

The successful applicant will be based in the Manchester Centre of Health Psychology http://research.bmh.manchester.ac.uk/healthpsychology and linked to the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Cancer Prevention and Early Detection theme. They will work with Dr Lorna McWilliams, along with a larger team of collaborators at the Universities of Manchester, Cambridge, University College London and Queen Mary University London.

Interviews will take place on Wednesday 13th August.
