Job Description

The Liu’s lab within the Division of Cardiovascular Sciences wish to appoint a laboratory-based Research Associate to an exciting project funded by British Heart Foundation, exploring ‘Ability of FGFR1/KLB to prevent cardiac microvascular impairment and pathological remodelling in response to metabolic stress’.

We are recruiting highly motivated staff with a PhD degree (or expected to receive a PhD) having extensive experience in Cardiac Physiology, Molecular Biology, animal work, manuscript preparation. During this position, the post-holder will undertake a range of activities, including: animal works, function study, particularly cardiac function assessments, gene engineering, in vitro work: including cell culture, cardiomyocyte isolation, and human iPSC-CMs culture.
