Job Description

The School Operations Team is looking to appoint a Compliance, Safety and Estates Manager to work across the School, leading and managing matters related to compliance and risk, health and safety and estates. Working in collaboration with Faculty and University teams in this business area, the post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the School is operating within the compliance requirements of the law and in accordance with University regulations.

This strategic role requires the post holder to work independently and lead on policy and process development in the areas of compliance, safety and the management of estates projects. As part of the School’s drive to promote and encourage engagement in risk and compliance, information governance and health and safety matters, the post holder will implement policy and facilitate the introduction of best practice initiatives in these areas across the School.

The post holder will be a confident people and project manager with experience of strategic planning, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously according to deadlines.
