Job Description

The University of Manchester’s Sport Department, UoM Sport, is recruiting a full time Sport Development Coordinator to oversee our recreational sport programmes.

The role will coordinate and deliver our established campus league programme, as well as create new and additional intramural competitions and opportunities. The role will have responsibility for overseeing the recreational opportunities UoM Sport Clubs provide for their members, as well as supporting club development outside of our Team Manchester programme. The role will also play an instrumental part in the development and delivery of regional recreational competitions across the North West.

The successful candidate will line manage the Rugby Development Intern, as well as oversee a number of causal campus league coordinators and student volunteers.

We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and engaging individual who has substantial experience in delivering recreational sport programmes including intramural competitions and events, as well as support student lead sport clubs to access additional opportunities.

Interviews for this role will take place on the 1st of October.
