
The School Operations Assistant role provides proactive operational support for key activities across the School as a member of the SEED School Operations team. This includes delivering an excellent service provision for all staff and PGR students within the School’s wider community and the School’s departments.
This is a busy role and will involve flexibility and the ability to prioritise tasks to effectively assist with the delivery of activity and contribute to development and improvements within the School. The post holder’s role will be to ensure effective and professional liaison and communication with academic, administrative and external customers, to facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day activities, through the delivery of established processes. The post holder will act as a first point of contact for the School to provide a helpful and welcoming service to students, staff and visitors.
The business area of School Operations incorporates a wide range of activity which the post-holder will have exposure to through their responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to; procurement, academic processes, staff recruitment and visitor processes, managing the School’s buildings and estate, compliance, health and safety, social responsibility, equality, diversity and inclusion, staff events and staff communications.
