We are seeking outstanding applicants with an established research and teaching record in the areas of Sensors and Electronics. Well established experience in both theoretical and practical research is desirable. The successful candidate will be joining the School of Engineering at the University of Manchester, the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and the Sensors and Electronics research group within this. The Sensors and Electronics research group works ‘from silicon to cloud’, with group members working on diverse topics ranging from clean room fabrication of semiconductor devices, to PCB and Integrated Circuit design, to real-time AI system development.
We are seeking candidates with research portfolios which broadly align with one (or more) of the areas, in order to complement and consolidate our activities in:

The successful applicant will be expected to teach in a range of electronics and electronics-related areas, including but not limited to fundamental electronic principles, and advanced aspects of analogue and digital system design.
