We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Post Doctoral Research Associate to join the British Heart Foundation Centre for Research Excellence (BHF CRE) at the University of Manchester.
Despite major advances in cardiac genomics and proteomics, there remains a critical gap between target identification and small-molecule validation in cardiovascular research. DNA-encoded library (DEL) screening represents a transformative platform for accelerating compound discovery by allowing billions of compounds to be tested simultaneously for protein binding.
This PDRA position will play a central role in operating DEL screening within the heart failure theme and across the CRE network, supporting collaborative compound-discovery projects and driving translation from target identification to compound validation.
As an equal opportunities employer we welcome applicants from all sections of the community regardless of age, sex, gender (or gender identity), ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and transgender status. All appointments are made on merit.
