About the role:

We seek a high-calibre and strategically minded Project Manager to lead the delivery of the DATAMIND-Observatory, a major national programme accelerating mental-health research and industry innovation through advanced UK data assets. This is a senior operational role requiring a candidate who can drive complex workstreams, manage a skilled research team, and work confidently with senior stakeholders across academia, government, data-controlling bodies, industry partners and lived-experience groups.

The postholder will oversee project planning, resource allocation, governance processes, risk and financial management, delivery standards and reporting to funders and steering committees. They will establish and monitor KPIs, lead the development of SOPs, coordinate access to sensitive datasets, shape programme documentation and help steer the development of digital tools such as an Observatory web portal.

We are seeking someone with a strong track record of delivering large, technical or research-driven programmes, excellent judgement, and the ability to represent the Observatory at a senior level. Experience in health-data, clinical-research or regulated environments is highly desirable.
