A great opportunity to join a dynamic lab working to understand the inflammatory response in health and disease. The role is based within the Brough lab which forms part of a wider community studying inflammation and brain inflammation. The role is full-time for 36 months and is funded by The MRC. The successful applicant will be expected to assist lab members with experiments, in addition to assisting with the general running of the lab and taking control of certain lab duties. Experience in cell culture, molecular and cell biology, and in vitro and in vivo models of inflammation is essential, and in lab techniques such as flow cytometry is an advantage.
