Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Employment Services Support Assistant to join our People Services team within Employment Services. This role supports the delivery of high-volume People administration across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and employee changes


Key duties include:
• Responding to People-related enquiries via People Connect (case management system), Microsoft Teams and in person
• Triage and management of cases within People systems (People Connect and ECR) including the triage of all employment contract requests
• Booking and conducting Right to Work checks
• Processing employee change requests and passed probation confirmations
• Maintaining accurate records, confidentiality and data protection standards


About you:
• Proven administrative experience, ideally in a People/HR or Higher Education environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office
• Detail-focused, flexible and committed to teamwork and continuous improvement
