Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Learning and Student Experience (TLSE) Support Assistant within the Student Support and Wellbeing team in the School of Engineering.
We are seeking to appoint an individual with an interest in student support and wellbeing and the academic and pastoral support procedures and processes relating to postgraduate taught and undergraduate education. The ideal candidate will be able to work positively and respectfully with a range of students and colleagues from diverse backgrounds and be highly self-motivated with the capacity to work flexibly, both alone and as part of a team. The role involves a range of activities including initial triage of queries and support to students in the School’s Student Support Hub, email and phone line support, mitigating circumstances and extension application administration, and attendance monitoring administration. There is a requirement to have a proactive approach to managing your workload in this role and proven customer service skills.

This role offers a hybrid working option. However, please note that as a student-facing position, you will be required to work on campus for a minimum of 3 days per week, with the possibility of additional on-site days as dictated by business needs.
