About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and user orientated People Technology Experience Manager to support our Oracle Fusion and ServiceNow environments with a strong focus on helping to build enageing user jounrneys.
Reporting to the Director, People Services, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying and maintaining the user experience in partnership with the employment service team. along with transforming how the University leverages the technology and data to support our strategic objectives and enhance decision-making.
Leading a team of 6 functional experts, this is a critical leadership role that requires a blend of technical expertise in People systems (specifically Oracle Fusion), a deep understanding of people experience, and a strong analytical mindset to drive data-informed insights in Power BI and Oracle Analytics.
About You

Essential skills:
Significant demonstrable experience in a senior leadership role managing HR systems, data, and analytics, ideally within a large, complex organisation
Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion HCM, including system configuration, module implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
Strong understanding of HR processes and data flows across the employee lifecycle.
Demonstrable experience in leading and developing a team of technical and analytical professionals.
Excellent data governance principles and practices, with a strong understanding of GDPR and other relevant data protection legislation.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver tangible business value through HR technology and data.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Understanding of ServiceNow case management system.
Experience with other HR technologies and integrations.
Knowledge of higher education sector-specific HR reporting requirements (e.g., HESA).
Experience with other business intelligence tools or data warehousing concepts.
