Job Description

The International Development Division (IDD) is an integral part of the University's Directorate for the Student Experience. Within IDD, the International Relations team undertakes a range of activities in support of the international agenda of the University and the work of the Associate Vice-President (Internationalisation).

The International Officer (International Relations) will join an established team. The post holder will play a critical role in providing relationship management and service delivery to our key international sponsors, with responsibility for the sponsor relations team. Additionally, the role will provide support and project management of a range of other activities such as supporting inward and outward visits from our international stakeholders, the provision of management information and briefing notes, running events etc.

All aspects of this work will entail close working with colleagues in Faculties, Schools, other parts of the Directorate for Student Experience as well as external organisations.

You will have demonstrable experience of meeting operational requirements, with excellent planning, project management and organisational skills with the ability to work to both short term and long term deadlines. You will possess excellent communication skills (written and oral) and be able to present and interpret information clearly. You will have sound analytical, creative and pragmatic problem solving skills and be comfortable using data. As a constructive team player you will demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders.

Interviews are anticipated within three weeks of the closing date. The successful candidate will start on/around 22 June 2026.
