Job Description


We are seeking a motivated, collaborative individual to join us as a TLSE Administrator (Assessment & Progression). This role supports teaching and learning administration, student recruitment, international development, and student success activities across Student and Academic Services, Course Delivery/Student Administration, Institute of Teaching and Learning, School-based Assessment and Progression, Curriculum and Programmes, Clinical Delivery/Placements, and Accreditation teams within a dynamic, inclusive environment.

You will be required:

  • To be responsible for the administration of Teaching and Learning, and Student Administration activities for the team assigned.
  • To supervise and coordinate the work of teaching and learning, and Student Administration and act as a point of reference.
  • To provide information, advice and guidance to stakeholders.
  • To work flexibly as required across the University, supporting the delivery of university and local priorities, operating at all times as a single cross University team.
  • To have awareness and active engagement with the need for diversity and inclusion in all that we do for example, when working with individuals who identify with a protected characteristic under the Equality Act, students who are under-represented in higher education as outlined in the University's widening participation strategy.

About You

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in teaching, learning, and student administration.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to provide confidential advice and guidance.
  • Able to supervise staff and coordinate work activities effectively.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experienced in teamwork within large organisations, offering flexible support to colleagues.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of working with systems, e.g. Campus Solutions.
