Job Description

The Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE) provides learning opportunities for registered pharmacy professionals providing NHS services in England. Each year, we support over 70,000 learners through workshops, education supervision and online learning programmes.

CPPE is recruiting for the key post of e-learning technologist. This is a fixed-term contract until March 2026. It is expected, but not guaranteed, that the post will continue beyond this date.

We seek a talented, motivated and experienced individual to design high quality, professional and engaging online learning. You will have experience of using learning design methodologies and be able to show where your work has had a tangible impact on the design and online delivery of units or programs of study. Ideally, you will have experience of using Canvas and Storyline. Experience in other platforms will be considered.

You will join the learning development team in CPPE, maintain strong links with a small and well-established IT team and establish networks with the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health e-learning team. You will engage with pharmacy educators to manage and deliver programme planning, instructional design, content development and programme maintenance.

CPPE is a customer-focused organisation and we encourage all employees to embrace this culture. CPPE is committed to providing high-quality and professional learning programmes and excellent customer service. We will achieve this by committing to our core values of improvement and achievement, communication, encouraging others, openness and honesty and working together.
