Job Description


We are looking for a Data Manager to join us on the Mental Health Mission – a £42.7m government funded project which will allow researchers to test cutting edge interventions for patients with mental health conditions.

This post will work on the Children and Young People’s (CYP) Workstream of the Mental Health Mission, specifically focusing on the System Development and Integration work programme, which overlaps with the Data and Digital workstream. The post holder will work closely with the CYP Project Manager and Leads, as well as the Data and Digital Workstream Leads. This role will support the move towards record and data harmonisation across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services by leading on the relevant system development and integration work.

The post holder will be part of a large and multi-disciplinary team. They will collaborate with the University’s Centre for Health Informatics, which has expertise in data engineering, analysis and statistical methodological development in areas including prediction and causal modelling. There will be ample opportunities for engaging with the wider data science community through the University’s Institute for Data Science and AI and through the national Alan Turing Institute.
