Job Description

JEO4C is a £2.5 million research project, funded by the UK’s Economic and Social Sciences Research Council (ESRC), focused on understanding the justice implications of the increased use of earth observation (EO) technologies such as satellites and drones in biodiversity conservation. Over the course of 5 years, JEO4C’s aim is to transform understanding of the conservation ‘datascape’ and to co-develop strategies by which remote sensing can support conservation which is both ecologically impactful and socially just. The project will work intensively in four conservation landscapes in the UK, Spain, Guatemala, and Kenya, while developing recommendations to reshape global best practice on data-driven conservation.

We are recruiting a project manager to support the delivery of this exciting project.
