Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced and enthusiastic administrative professional to join the vibrant, inclusive communications and marketing team in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine, and Health at the University of Manchester.

The team works closely and collaboratively with academic and professional services functions and colleagues across the Faculty. We support the goals of the Faculty and wider University across student recruitment, marketing, internal and external communications and engagement, and social responsibility.

You will provide proactive confidential, high level Executive Assistant, administrative to the Head of Faculty Communications and Marketing, and administrative support to the wider communications and marketing team as required.

Liaising with a variety of colleagues internally and externally, you will be responsible for the coordination of meetings, inbox management, travel booking, People & organisational Development (P&OD) related processes, financial administration and purchasing, committee servicing, events organisation and support, supporting Health and Safety, and providing general ‘troubleshooting’ advice and signposting. 

The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health integrates discovery biology, clinical application, and patient care. It is the largest supplier of healthcare graduates to the NHS in the north-west of England and comprises the School of Biological Sciences, the School of Health Sciences and the School of Medical Sciences.
