Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate in Statistics, a one-year research role, commencing in May 2024 or another mutually agreed-upon date.

You will contribute to a Wellcome Trust-funded project titled "An Innovative Tool for Policy-Makers to Assess Climate Change's Economic Impact on 'Diseases of Despair' in Farming Communities." This collaborative project includes experts from the University of Leicester and University College London. The project aims to create an innovative tool utilising causal inference methods to assess the economic effects of climate change on 'diseases of despair' in farming communities. This tool will integrate data on climate change, agricultural productivity, and health outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include executing the core elements of the project, developing statistical models, creating the online application, and actively participating in disseminating results. This post is ideally suited for individuals with a background in Statistics or Biostatistics.
