Job Description

The Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health is offering an exciting secondment opportunity for a marketing, communication or student experience professional to join our Internal Communication and Engagement Team. Working with Faculty and School TLSE (Teaching, Learning and Student Experience) colleagues you will lead student communications for the Faculty and support the wider internal communications strategy.

As a Student Communications Officer, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of dynamic communications and campaigns to the University’s student community - making our University’s narrative coherent, impactful and relevant to our students; placing the student experience at the heart of what we do. To achieve this, you will have the support of and collaborate with the Student Communication Officers in the Faculties of Humanities and Science and Engineering as well as the central student communications team and the University’s Head of Student Communications.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience of developing and delivering communications or marketing campaigns and associated engagement activities, ideally across student/education audiences. You will have skills in copywriting, content creation, and the management of campaigns; along with excellent planning, organisational and project management skills.
