Job Description

The Division of Cardiovascular Sciences within the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health wish to appoint a Research Assistant to work on Stroke IMPaCT; a pioneering longitudinal study investigating post-stroke cognitive decline.  

The post-holder will work alongside the Acute Research Delivery Team (ARDT) at Salford Royal Hospital. The post-holder will contribute to maintenance of the Stroke IMPaCT study delivery and management with appropriate support and in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), the NHS Research Governance Framework standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Trust policies. The post- holder will be required to assist in research study activities including obtaining informed consent, collecting data, completing paper and electronic case report forms, assisting the participants with questionnaire completion, participant assessments including data entry/auditing.

The post holder will be based at Salford Royal Hospital.
