Job Description

The MAHSE Manager is a member of the Faculty Teaching and Learning Team and is responsible for the smooth running of the MAHSE Healthcare Science (HCS) programmes across the Greater Manchester region. This involves close liaison with Programme Directors and Administrators across Faculties and Universities as well as external stakeholder such as NHS employers, the National School of Healthcare Science (NSHCS) and the National Commissioning Team. A key aspect of the role is to ensure that contractual arrangements are in place between partner Universities and that financial models of reimbursement are both fair and workable for all stakeholders involved. The MAHSE Manager is required to work with the MAHSE Director and Deputy Directors in establishing the Manchester Academy for Healthcare Scientist Education and ensuring the continued engagement of key stakeholders in the education and training of healthcare scientists.
