
We are recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated research assistant/associate with expertise in construction materials and life cycle assessment (LCA) to join an exciting project funded by EPSRC and Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), in collaboration with Carbon Neutral Cities Alliance (CNCA). The project focuses on the exploring the use of waste and bio-based materials in new build homes and in retrofitting. We are looking for a strong researcher able to conduct research around waste and bio-based construction materials, and home retrofitting. We are looking for research expertise in civil engineering construction materials, retrofitting, sustainability and related areas. The role will be based in Department of Civil Engineering and Management within School of Engineering at the University of Manchester.
This role is flexible and could be funded full time for 3 months or part time for 6 months.
