Job Description


This research assistant post provides an exciting chance to support a Behavioural Research UK funded programme of research that aims to investigate how PPIE is currently used in the development and testing of health behaviour change interventions. The post will mainly involve supporting in the delivery of public and patient involvement workshops and a systematic review.

The role is especially suited to those who would like to get more involved in behaviour change research and are interested in public involvement and engagement, systematic review and meta-analysis methods, and making a meaningful impact to the development of interventions that support people to have healthier lives.

The successful applicant will be based in the Manchester Centre of Health Psychology http://research.bmh.manchester.ac.uk/healthpsychology. They will work with Drs Stephanie Lyons, Tracy Epton, Christine Rowland and Prof Sarah Peters.
