Applications are invited for a Laboratory Manager position within the Nanomedicine Lab in the Division of Pharmacy and Optometry at The University of Manchester.
You will manage the Nanomedicine Laboratory support technical team, associated equipment / space and preclinical biological research.
You will provide assistance and advice to a group of six Principal Investigators and their teams to facilitate the current and future needs of research within the laboratory.
You will preferably hold a PhD (or equivalent) in an appropriate experimental scientific discipline. Extensive technical knowledge, experience and an ability to understand, interpret and respond to the technical requirements of staff and students, is also desirable. You should have a well-developed analytical and problem solving ability.
