
The main purpose for this post is to lead at a senior level in the set up and delivery of a broad portfolio of national and international investigator led studies, translational research projects and funding applications. The post is being established to build on the achievements of the current project manager post, in recognition of the increasing breadth and depth of responsibilities.
The Research Programme Manager will facilitate the set up and running of a large international biomarker driven study (DETECTION) funded by CRUK Experimental Medicines Award (>£6 million), to be run in 25 centres in the UK and Australia and recruiting >1000 patients and will co-ordinate and support on-going Investigator-led studies, Clinical Trials and Workpackages.
An ability to work efficiently, flexibly and to strive to accomplish a high quality of work is required.
