The Directorate of Finance is recruiting for a Head of Faculty Financial Reporting and Analysis to join the Faculty of Science and Engineering Finance team.
The Head of Faculty Financial Reporting and Analysis is a member of the Faculty Finance team working under the guidance of the Head of Faculty Finance. You will work closely with the Faculty Leadership Team to develop their understanding of the financial position of the Faculty in the context of the University to help them drive appropriate actions.
You will line manage the Heads of School Finance and the Head of Faculty Research Finance within the faculty and lead them to develop a clear understanding of the drivers of business performance in order to enhance financial forecasting and decision making, including the optimal prioritisation of resources. You will also work with finance colleagues across the University to develop common approaches to reporting and analysis.
You will help develop and continuously improve management information to assist the Faculty’s leadership team and budget holders. Key aspects of the role will be to manage the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting across the Faculty, you should be flexible and customer focussed in your approach as well as being able to handle a number of conflicting deadlines.
