
The University invites applications for a Research Associate In Cybersecurity and Business Optimization which is open-ended/available from 1st May 2021 until 31st January 2023 subject to the satisfactory completion of a probationary period.
You will be asked to provide research support to the range of activities undertaken by the Manchester team. Your main responsibility will be to assist in the design and lead in the implementation of a Delphi study, carrying out the Delphi study with stakeholders from the cyber security and e-commerce sector, and subsequently using the insights gained from the Delphi study to formulate and solve a cybersecurity investment problem. You will also be expected to participate in the writing of reports and academic journal articles. Other activities may involve the broader dissemination of research findings to policy/practitioner and academic audiences.
