
The School of Biological Sciences invites applications for a full-time Lecturer to support and develop our large portfolio of undergraduate programmes in medical biochemistry and biomedical sciences.
You will be passionate about your subject area and committed to the delivery of outstanding teaching to students. This role will involve the development and delivery of a research skills laboratory practical unit to year 2 students. In addition, you will deliver face to face and online lectures, small group tutorials and require the preparation and marking of associated assessments. Supervising year 2 dissertation students and final year project students is also a core part of this role.
You will hold a PhD or equivalent in a relevant biosciences subject in addition to having experience of delivering undergraduate teaching. Although full-time, we would encourage those who wish to discuss flexible working to contact the recruiting manager.
