The candidate's responsibilities include course unit leadership, supporting colleagues by delivering small class teaching for other large units, dissertation supervision and contribution to course unit design including the delivery of formative and summative assessment for students on these units.

In addition to course unit specific engagement the candidates will also be involved in other administrative and pastoral duties.

We are specifically looking for a colleague with expertise in applied, empirical economics.

  • a 250 word summary on what you see as the most important contribution teaching staff can make to 1st year undergraduate economics students’ learning as they transition from College/School to University.

Step 5 will ask you to highlight detail how you meet the person specification. Please use that section to add any information on how you meet the person specification criteria (which are in the Further Particulars document linked in the advert) not addressed via the document you will attach in Step 6 (containing CV, Teaching Evaluations and answers to two short questions).
