The Division of Accounting and Finance in the Alliance Manchester Business School are seeking to appoint a number of outstanding candidates at the Lecturer level in all areas of Accounting and/of Finance.


This teaching & scholarship post requires the successful candidate to:

 

1. Contribute to the development and delivery of excellent teaching in and across the general area of accounting and/or finance.

 

2. Contribute to ongoing teaching and, when relevant, engagement activities in the discipline area of accounting and/or finance within the Division.

 

3. Contribute to the pastoral and academic supervision of students. 


4. Undertake other academic and administrative duties as required by the Head of Division.  


Applicants must be available for a start no later than 1st January 2022, hold a relevant doctoral degree (or be nearing completion) or a relevant, significant professional qualification, have demonstrable experience of high-quality teaching with the ability to carry out both online and face-to-face on-campus teaching, along with excellent oral and written communication skills.


These roles are intended to provide a level of teaching experience which will allow the role-holder to be better equipped in securing further and more advanced teaching roles.


Interviews will take place in September 2021. They may be held via teleconferencing (Zoom).
