The facility is a part of an overall investment, building on the strong, and rapidly-expanding, UK research in this field and aims to take this research through to commercial success. Funded through EPSRC and ERDF, they will offer access to specialist facilities and equipment including state-of-the-art cleanrooms which enable the simulation of manufacturing processes. This world-class shared facility for graphene research and commercialisation activities will be accessible by both researchers and business.
