Job Description

The Department of Economics at the University of Manchester invites applications for at least two junior positions at the level of Lecturer (equivalent to tenure track Assistant Professor).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: The Department of Economics is seeking candidates with backgrounds in any field in Economics/Econometrics, candidates with background in Applied Economics (applied micro, applied macro, or applied theory) are particularly encouraged to apply. The appointment is expected to begin September 1, 2022. Successful applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics or a related field by the beginning of employment at 1 September 2022, and are expected to be committed to teaching and research of the highest quality.  In addition to publishing in leading international journals, the successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
