If this sounds interesting and appealing to you, our Library Digital Services team would love to hear from you.  If you are someone who loves working with people, if you have experience of working in customer support roles and would like to work more with digital services and technology then working in our Digital Services team at The University of Manchester Library could be the opportunity for you! 

Our Digital Support Services team work in a proactive, customer service based environment, providing digital support to a wide range of people and technology across a number of library sites. As well as working directly with customers and library digital technology, we provide support through online chat and other service management tools so a strong customer focus is essential.

We are looking for two people to join our team in the roles of Student Digital Support Coordinator and Student Digital Support Assistant.

Between 9th - 16th February, we are holding a series of open day style sessions so you can come and find out more about the role, meet Library colleagues and ask any questions you may have.  Given the current public health situation, these will be online only via Zoom.   The sessions are available at the following times:

  • Wednesday 9th February        2-3pm  
  • Thursday 10th February            10.30am-11.30am
  • Monday 14th February              2-3pm 
  • Tuesday 15th February               2-3pm
