
Context of the Role
The University of Manchester Occupational Health Service provides confidential occupational health services to protect the health of staff and students at work, in training and in study and assesses and advises on fitness for work, training and study to ensure that health issues are effectively managed.
This an exciting role for an individual interested in leading in an Occupational Health Service who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to the University’s 42,000 students and 11,000 staff.
Reporting to the Head of Occupational Health Services, you will support him in managing individuals and teams including the Occupational Health nursing team. You will also help to lead in the delivery of efficient and effective processes, actively contributing to the delivery of continuous service improvement. You will be an excellent communicator and proficient at building and maintaining stakeholder partnerships. You will also actively engage with change initiatives, leading on specific Occupational Health activities as appropriate.
