Job Description

Within the newly created Division of Student and Academic Services, the Access, Student Employability, Success, and Development Team will lead integrated programmes and activities that support all students to fulfil their potential, access and succeed at university, and progress into positive graduate outcomes.

A key focus of this post is to support the Monitoring, Evaluation and Student Data Officer with the increasing expectations for the monitoring and evaluation of the University's access and participation related work, including analysing qualitative and quantitative information. This is important for external statutory reporting obligations to the Office for Students (OfS) as well as internally, in assessing the effectiveness of different interventions and activities.

The post requires excellent analytical skills, with the ability to explore, summarise and present data in an accessible way to help understand the impact of our projects linked to student access and success.  You will provide support for staff across the University undertaking monitoring and evaluation of access and participation related activity.  You will have a flexible, positive approach to work and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons and all appointments will be made on merit. As we are committed to the principles of the Race Equality Charter Mark, we would particularly welcome applications from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community who are currently under-represented at this level in this area.
