We are seeking to appoint a qualified Building Services (electrician) Technician to work within our Residences Team.
You are expected to carry out maintenance to all electrical infrastructure, plant and equipment associated with a major University and to complete installation work in a technically flexible manner. You will require the appointed individual to work upon and across the Residential campuses Fallowfield, Victoria Park and or City. You will be expected to include some elements of basic mechanical engineering, whilst working within the levels of a known competency.
All work will be carried out in the most efficient manner whilst working within a framework of “best value”.
A working knowledge of building electrical services with basic understanding of mechanical (including plumbing) and building trade skills.
Experience of producing written reports regarding works carried out and making recommendations where appropriate for additional works.
