Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS) seeks a highly motivated postdoctoral research associate (quantitative research and data analytics) to join a team of academics, software developers and healthcare professionals and contribute to a quantitative evaluation of AI and data-driven decision-making in mental health. The primary aim of this 2-year project is to evaluate the efficacy and compatibility of the Management and Supervision Tool (MaST) provided by Holmusk, which is the first data-driven and AI-enabled decision support tool for clinicians in the adult Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) of the Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH).
The postholder will lead the quantitative evaluation of the efficacy of MaST and its AI components. This will entail (1) analysing the costs and effects of alternative mental health interventions, (2) evaluating the current clinical efficacy of MaST and its AI components, and (3) applying alternative machine learning and AI algorithms to evaluate the associations between Risk of Crisis and predictor variables. The postholder will lead quantitative evaluation and data analytics, and draft reports and manuscripts.
