Job Description

The University invites applications for the above post which is tenable from 1st September, 2024. We are looking for talented individuals with solid grounding in the teaching of general Commercial Law, Law of Sale and Consumer Law. Those with an interest in insurance law are also encouraged to apply.

Information About the Post

The Law Department sits within the School of Social Sciences and is internationally recognised for pursuing high quality research across all areas of Law and delivering excellent teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students.  To further strengthen our teaching and research portfolio, in line with our strategic objectives, the School wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Law.

Applicants must have a relevant PhD, and demonstrate the ability to engage in innovative teaching, meet flexible curricular and teaching needs, and demonstrate capability to contribute organisationally to the wider School community as well as having strong research potential in the areas indicated.
