Job Description

Applications are invited for a full-time Senior Lecturer in Optometry and Vision Sciences in either a ‘Teaching and Scholarship’ or a ‘Teaching and Research’ capacity.  ​​​​​​​

Candidates who are registered with the General Optical Council and with significant academic leadership experience are particularly encouraged to apply. 

In addition to taking a leadership role (such as Programme Director or another senior role) within the undergraduate programme in Optometry, the successful applicant will also either (a) contribute significantly to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level or (b) contribute significantly to research in optometry, vision sciences or related areas, in addition to some teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
