Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced project manager to coordinate SPRITE+, the Security, Privacy, Identity, and Trust Engagement NetworkPlus, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council.

An experienced and dynamic project manager, with experience of managing large-scale collaborative networks and research projects, is required to lead the management and co-ordination of this NetworkPlus. You will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of SPRITE+ activities, ensuring key project milestones are met and coordinating successful delivery to project stakeholders. As a key member of the team, you must demonstrate excellent organisational, planning, and communication skills. You will also be responsible for ensuring efficient use of resources (including budgeting, procurement, and travel), providing administrative support, arranging and participating in meetings and events and administering the research fund and reporting needs of the project.

The project manager will need to draw on specialist expertise and skills to: i) maintain, and where necessary develop, clear working practices to govern the activities of the NetworkPlus; ii) provide a lead for the financial and legal administration of project resources across Partners and members; iii) act as a key contact between the Management Group, Project Partners, Expert Fellows and Members, towards the fulfilment and delivery of the work programme.
