This is an opportunity to join the Lincoln Theological Institute for the Study of Religion and Society (LTI).
You will develop and execute a research project consonant with LTI’s aims and thereby enhance the Institute’s research profile.
LTI aims to (1) create a national and international centre of expertise in the theological study of religion and society; and (2) promote theological research and study into a variety of ethical, pastoral, social and ecclesial issues.
Since 2003, the Institute has been based in the Department of Religions & Theology, now in the School of Arts, Languages & Cultures, at The University of Manchester. Its present Director is Prof. Peter Scott.
Interviews are scheduled to be held on 7 March 2016. At interview, shortlisted applicants should be prepared to make a 15 minute presentation in support of their research project.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as black and minority ethnic (BME) candidates are currently under-represented at this level in this area, we would particularly welcome applications from BME applicants. All appointments will be made on merit.
