The University of Manchester welcomes applications for Research Associate (Mapping Language Needs in a Globalised Urban Community) to join a research team funded from an AHRC award based within the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures.
The Research Associate will be joining the research team of the Multilingual Manchester activity cluster, and will be part of a multi-site research consortium.
This appointment is available from January 2017 or earlier and applications should be made through the University’s online system.
In addition to the application form in the format provided, applicants should submit an original research proposal of up to 5 pages or 2,000 words which outlines work that they would wish to undertake within the scope of the project’s overall aims as described in the further particulars. This should be sent directly to Professor Yaron Matras - firstname.lastname@example.org
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as black and minority ethnic (BME) candidates are currently under-represented at this level in this area, we would particularly welcome applications from BME applicants. All appointments will be made on merit.
