This is an opportunity for a researcher who is an expert in cosmology to work with our team to exploit the Dark Energy Survey data at this exciting time, with an emphasis on weak gravitational lensing.
Knowledge and experience of some aspect of theoretical cosmology and/or cosmological data analysis is essential.
You must also hold or be about to obtain a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field. You will have a demonstrable track record in communicating your research in both written and oral form, with excellent communication skills. Scientific programming skills are also essential.
This position is funded by an ERC Consolidator Grant. Full time or part time hours are negotiable. The appointment is available from April 2017 for a period of three years subject to probation.
