The Beyer Chair was founded in 1881 and its ten previous holders have been internationally pre-eminent figures in applied mathematics. We seek a new holder of the Chair having an outstanding reputation in Applied Mathematics, to join a friendly, supportive and collegial environment in the School of Mathematics. You should have research experience in any area of Applied Mathematics that complements and extends existing research within the School of Mathematics, and a genuine commitment to, and enthusiasm for, teaching and knowledge transfer.
